THE HOME RUN is a Foster*A*Life event that helps foster children find a home! There is a critical shortage in the Lubbock area for foster homes. THE HOME RUN is an event that will bring awareness of the need for foster homes for children who have been abused and/or neglected. Child Placing Agencies are participating in this event so you can obtain information about how to become a foster parent or other ways that you can help these children. THE HOME RUN includes a fun run as well as fun family activities including an inflatable Velcro wall, horses, art activities as well as food trucks! Foster*A*Life is hosting this event. Foster*A*Life provides services and opportunities for children involved with CPS in Lubbock County and 17 surrounding counties. Registration begins at 7:00 AM and the fun run begins at 8:00 AM. The event ends at 1:00 PM! The cost for the fun run is $10 for all ages until June 25, 2021. On the day of the event, the cost is $15 for all ages. The packet will include a T-Shirt, a bottle of water and other promotional items. (A T-Shirt cannot be guaranteed for registrations after June 19, 2021). THERE IS NO CHARGE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ACTIVITIES!! THE FOOD TRUCKS DETERMINE THEIR OWN PRICING! HELP US “HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK” TO FIND HOMES FOR THESE CHILDREN!
