CLASS A or B Driver Needed ASAP-Weekly Pay (Fort Lauderdale) plus paid overtime 2580 SW 32nd St compensation: $18-$21 Hr employment type: full-time Our responsibilities: drive our specialized hydrovac system while providing safe, customer focused services. Must use a jackhammer to perform other duties as assigned and work with 3 man crew. The job may require overnight shifts and weekends +50 hours per week The position requires a Driver that is PHYSICALLY FIT with the ability to lift and carry 60 lbs safely. The position responsibilities- Safely operate a Hydro Vac system outside of the truck Safely operate tractor trailer Preform general maintenance of equipment Inspect truck before and after trip, complete DVIR Trouble shoot minor mechanical issues and as the need arises preform minor repairs to equipment and report to mechanic Perform other duties such as clean-up and mobilization Properly track and document activity log Report any issues or incidents to dispatch Communicate effectively and professionally with employees and customers, demonstrate a strong customer service Focus in all interactions Work side by side with 3-man crew to preform duties and task in a safe, timely, and efficient manner Use company provided paperwork and invoice books correctly for field ticketing, time, and attendance. Must pass pre-employment testing which consists of Drug & Alcohol and random urinalysis. Safety Certifications preferred ( e.g. First aid/ CPR, Fall protection, etc.) Experience in labor intensive position and working outside in the elements and all types of weather conditions.
