Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Facility Technician will maintain service contracts for all relevant facilities systems and vendors according to FDA, cGMP and Boston Analytical's Standard Operating Procedures. These items include but are not limited to:
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONISIBITIES
Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC and Recycling
Alarms (burglar, emergency)
Cleaning crew
Food/beverage vendors
Property Maintenance/Landscaping
Assists lab personnel with gas canister supply and waste removal
General maintenance and repair at the facility.
Reports to Manager of Metrology.
Follows all safety rules and regulations.
Follows all cGMP rules and regulations.
REQUIREMENTS &QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma or GED is required.
0 to 3 years of experience in an industrial environment.
Familiarity with basic everyday repair tools and techniques.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and other general computer skills.
Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Capable of working on his/her feet for prolonged periods of time.
MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Organized, self-motivated and focused on completing tasks, possesses good interpersonal skills, works well with others, service oriented and who is able to effectively interact with all departments with the Company.
Must have the ability and skill to perform the detailed job requirements noted above competently, safely and proficiently.
Must have good organizational and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer skills required.
Experience with cGMP is preferred.
Must be a team player with integrity and concern for the quality of Company products, services and staff members.
