Jason Eady with Adam Hood - 7pm - LIMITED ADDITIONAL SEATING AVAILABLE SINGLE SEATS $20 ADV/$25 DAY OF SHOW ALL AGES Jason Eady Adam Hood Jason Eady with Adam Hood (2 shows!) Jason Eady: On his last two albums, Jason Eady earned major acclaim for his ahead-of-the- curve take on classic country, a bold departure from his earlier excursions into blues-infused Americana. Now with his sixth album, the Mississippi-bred singer/guitarist merges his distinct sensibilities into a stripped-down, roots- oriented sound that starkly showcases the gritty elegance of his songwriting. 2014’s critically praised Daylight/Dark “belongs on a shelf next to Dwight Yoakam’s Buenos Noches from a Lonely Room, Joe Ely’s Letter to Laredo, and yes, even Willie Nelson’s Phases and Stages,” according to AllMusic. The brand new self-titled album promises to cement Eady’s place in the songwriting pantheon. Adam Hood: Solo artist. Frontman. Behind-the-scenes songwriter. For more than a decade, Adam Hood has left his mark both onstage and in the writing room, carving out a southern sound that mixes equal parts country, soul and American roots music. It's a sound that began shape in Opelika, Alabama. Raised by working-class parents, Hood started playing hometown shows as a 16 year-old, landing a weekly residency at a local restaurant. He'd perform there every Friday and Saturday night, filling his set list with songs by John Hiatt, Hank Williams Jr, and Vince Gill. As the years progressed, the gigs continued —not only in his home state, but across the entire country. Eventually even landing himself a three-year nationwide tour opening for Leon Russell.
