Document Stories of Survivors of Racism in Contra Costa County To Highlight the subtle and systemic racism in the County Speak up! Speak Out! Share your Truth. Calling all diverse survivors of the system with VOICES ready to be HEARD. Come vocalize and speak your POWER! We want share the struggles and challenges that the historically disenfranchised people have experienced in Contra Costa County. We are providing an OPEN MIC event so we can share our experiences through Spoken Word, Poetry, Song, or just a simple Story. We value all community voices and we will document our stories with the purpose of creating CHANGE within our community! Join us on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 @ 6:00 PM Where: (In Person) at CoBiz Richmond or (Virtually) via Zoom (you will receive the zoom link upon registration). This is a FREE event open to all community members to enjoy, participate and support! Open Mic participants with be compensated. HOST: Lea Murray MPH, MA President & Founder of Collaborising Inc. a non-profit agency dedicated to improving race equity by facilitating community conversations on race. Collaborising is a fusion of two words: Collaborate and Rising. By working together to eradicate racism we rise to create a more just and harmonious society.
