The primary responsibility of the Custodian is to set up furniture for events and break down and clean following the events. The two meeting rooms in our facility have a maximum capacity of 75 and 125 and set up details vary depending on the event being held.
Employment Type:
Part-time, possibly weekends; hours variable and might be subject to additional hours on short notice. No fixed hours as work is required when events are scheduled. Minimal supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Set up tables and chairs for events per instructions at the time required
• Following the event, break down and clean tables and chairs prior to storing
• Sweep and mop rooms and bathrooms following the events
• Clean windows, sinks, mirrors, door handles, light switches and surfaces following events.
• Empty garbage in bathrooms and kitchens if needed
• Clean bathrooms toilets and sinks following events and make sure that they are clean prior to events.
Requirements:
• Prior work experience, preferably in the custodial field
• References (minimum of 2)
• Ability to read and follow instructions
• Reliable transportation

• Able to lift and move heavy tables (40 pounds)
