New Orleans Swing Music After choosing to shut our doors just over a year ago due to the global Covid-19 pandemic, we are excited to finally announce our Grand Re-Opening! Our staff, along with our family of musicians, have missed entertaining our many fans, both locally and around the world. With local restrictions having been lifted (sort of), it is time for us to make our return. If this past year has taught us anything, it's that all that all things change and people have a way of coming together to adapt with new circumstances. The Cat is no different. Due to local and state health guidelines as well as the safety and well being of our musicians, staff, and guests, we are adapting to the times with how we run our establishment. Parties will be seated at spaced out tables and our bartenders will provide table service. No more than 10 people in a party are allowed at one table. If you have purchased 2 tables and would like to sit together please email management ahead of time. We are only offering full table ticket sales as our spacing and capacity is limited. Much of our music line-up will remain the same. The only difference being days and time slots of shows. It is with much thought that we are able to provide a safe space to bring music back to our stage and provide work for many who have been without for far too long. Each show will consist of two sets lasting for an hour and a half. Shows will start and end promptly with the allotted time on the purchased ticket. This will allow us to properly sanitize the room prior to the next show. We ask that you arrive on time as we will begin seating the next show as soon as the room has been cleaned. There will be outside seating in our parklet before and after, but those seats will be subject to a beverage purchase and available on a first come first serve basis. All shows are still 21 and up and refunds will only be permitted in the event that a show is cancelled because of the limited space.
