Hi everyone! I am a volunteer with Telehealth Access for Seniors, our mission is to help patients affected by the COVID-19 outbreak by gaining access to smart devices needed to attend virtual appointments. We collect used devices and connect seniors to healthcare by facilitating access to care and provide support to low-income elderly patients. We are collecting old iPads, iPhones, and tablets to give to elderly patients, so that they can video chat or use Telehealth apps to attend their doctor's appointments These devices go to numerous medical practices in all of the states we are active including California, Texas, Ohio, New York, Illinois, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and South Carolina! All devices collected are done following CDC guidelines, there are a couple of steps that you need to take to safely transfer the device with proper sanitization. We have devised a detailed protocol here if you would like to donate. You must charge, reset, and sanitize your device.
