After speaking with a witness and an involved person it was determined that no carjacking had occurred. 05/13/202102:46 INCIDENT 21003183 LARCENY OVER $1200 C266 S30 HOMER AVENUE A resident of Homer Avenue heard noises like someone was working outside and making noise. When she looked out, she saw two men at her car that they jacked up. She then observed that one of the men was under her car cutting something. By the time she got to her car they had fled the area. Upon arrival, Officers looked underneath her car and could see that the catalytic converter had been cut out and stolen. 05/13/202107:12 TRAFFIC 21003185 TRAFFIC INVESTIGATIONS MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Cambridge Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle crash with injury. An unknown suspect stole his hybrid bicycle from the front of his building sometime since May 1, 2021 05/13/202115:25 INCIDENT 21003199 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE C90 S24 DAVENPORT STREET A Davenport Street resident reported a possible hit-and-run crash. He thought a van being driven down Davenport Street may have struck a vehicle owned by his wife. He could not be sure if there was collision. 05/13/202115:30 INCIDENT 21003200 SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE / EOD INVESTIGATION OXFORD STRET The Cambridge Police EOD/K9 Unit responded to Oxford Street for a suspicious package in a mail room. The box was cleared by the EOD Unit and cleared of any suspicious materials. 05/13/202115:56 INCIDENT 21003201 MISC. REPORT TYPE MEMORIAL DRIVE Cambridge Police responded to a hotel for a recovery of a stolen motor vehicle. 05/13/202116:15 INCIDENT 21003202 LARCENY UNDER $1200 C266 S30(1) MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE A women reported she left her phone in the grocery store bathroom. When she returned approximately 20 minutes later, it was gone. 05/13/202117:40 INCIDENT 21003204 THREAT TO COMMIT CRIME C275 S2 CAMBRIDGESIDE PLACE An employee of a CambridgeSide business reported being threatened. A male has been calling since March making sexually suggestive comments to anyone who picks up the phone. 05/13/202118:22 INCIDENT 21003206 THREAT TO COMMIT CRIME C275 S2 GENERAL LOCATIONS IN CAMBRIDGE A Cambridge resident reported being threatened over the phone. The victim stated that a male he met on a Friendship App wanted to start a dating relationship. When the victim told him, he wasn't interested he was threatened with bodily harm. 05/13/202118:36 INCIDENT 21003208 INSPECTION/STICKER, NO * C90 S20 MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop in Central Square. Further investigations revealed the driver, a resident out of Boston, had no inspection sticker and no insurance on his vehicle. The driver will be summonsed for the following crimes: Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and No Inspection Sticker. 05/13/202118:40 INCIDENT 21003207 OBSCENE MATTER, DISTRIBUTE C272 S29 MILL STREET A person reported someone threatening to disseminate nude photos of them if they did not send money. 05/13/202119:31 INCIDENT 21003210 LARCENY OVER $1200 C266 S30 COTTAGE PARK AVENUE Cambridge Police took a report for a larceny of a moped. 05/13/202119:51 INCIDENT 21003211 A&B C265 S13A PUTNAM AVENUE Cambridge Police responded to the area of Putnam Avenue and Grove Avenue for a reported physical assault taking place. The victim denied medical attention at the scene. 05/13/202120:49 INCIDENT 21003213 UNINSURED MOTOR VEHICLE C90 S34J THIRD STREET Officers responded to a residence on Third Street for a Parking Complaint. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the vehicle in-question, owned by a Roxbury man was Revoked for Insurance.
