Valley Alpha Electric, Inc. is looking to add a Shop Clerk to our team. We Offer - Competitive pay - Medical benefits - Accrued paid vacation - 401K - Profit sharing - Advancement training Job Responsibilities - Follow directions from direct reports - General Hours are m-f 7-3:30pm - may be required to start early/stay late to complete tasks - overtime potential - Track deliveries and or pick ups from job sites and or vendors including packing slips - Load trucks and or trailers and safely secure loads - Plan routes to minimize travel time - Assist field personal in setting up job site equipment if needed - Keep warehouse clean and orderly - Keep vehicles and equipment cleaned and maintained Position Requirements - High School diploma or equivalent - Clean DMV record - Valid CA driver’s license - Excellent communication skills - Capable of working independently - Ability to lift, carry and load heavy items - Willing to obtain Class A license Desired Abilities - Mechanical ability - Understand and identify small tools - Basic understanding of equipment for loading and unloading such as forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, skidsteers, excavators - Understand and identify electrical materials - Understand and identify trade tools and their functions - Basic computer skills including Microsoft office package
