Description

NAUGATUCK, CT — A motor vehicle stop on Friday on Old Waterbury Turnpike in Naugatuck resulted in police seizing 619 alprazolam (xanax) pills, 2.4 grams of cocaine and 10.69 ounces of marijuana, according to authorities. Arrested following the discovery were Mark Oladapo, 19, of Dickerman Street in New Haven, and Tyler Murtishi, 20, of Moorland Avenue in Waterbury. In addition to the alprazolam, cocaine and marijuana, police also seized the following: 38 Focalin pills51 Gabapentin pills14.82oz worth of Edible marijuana (skittles)Packaging materials and multiple scalesThe two were charged with Operating a drug factory 2 counts of possession of a controlled substancePossession of drug paraphernaliaPossession with intent to sellOladapo, who was driving, additionally received an infraction for operating a vehicle with illegally tinted windows. Both were released after posting bonds, and are scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court in July.
