All individuals arrested or charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. REPORTS BURGLARY, 2021-05150218, 1000 block of S. Frederick Street. At approximately 7:31 p.m. on May 15, police were dispatched to the report of a dispute. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim, from inside his residence, observed the male suspect involved in a verbal dispute with a known individual and called out to ask if everything was alright. The suspect then ran into the building and began to kick the door of the victim's residence repeatedly and made verbal threats. The suspect left the building and was located outside by arriving officers. Creg McCall, 36, of Arlington, VA was arrested and charged with Attempted Burglary with Intent to Commit Assault and Destruction of Property. BURGLARY, 2021-05150108, 2000 block of N. Edison Street. At approximately 11:56 a.m. on May 15, police were dispatched to the report of suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, it was determined that the witness noticed the front window of the residence shattered and contacted the Emergency Communications Center. Arriving officers searched the residence and surrounding area with negative results. The investigation determined that the unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the residence, stole a set of keys and fled the scene in the victim's vehicle. The vehicle is described as a 2015 Mercedes-Benz E250 with NY tags HHM4170. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing. BURGLARY (LATE), 2021-05140154, 2800 block of 9th Street S. At approximately 5:56 p.m. on May 14, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined that between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on May 13, the male victim heard noise originating from his living room and upon investigating, located the unknown suspect inside. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. The following day, the victim determined that electronics were stolen from the residence and contacted the Emergency Communications Center. The suspect is described as a 17 – 22 year old Black male, 5'7" tall with a skinny build. He was wearing a dark gray hoodie, silver necklace and tennis shoes. The investigation is ongoing. UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2021-05140186, 500 block of N. Jackson Street. At approximately 9:17 p.m. on May 14, police were dispatched to the report of a trespassing. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 8:49 p.m., a witness allegedly heard voices coming from inside a vacant residence under construction and observed 5 individuals exit the property. Arriving officers observed the rear door to the residence open, and conducted a search of the property and surrounding area with negative results. There were no signs of forced entry and nothing was reported stolen or damaged. There are no suspect descriptions. The investigation is ongoing. INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2021-05130156, 1800 block of N. Highland Street. At approximately 6:54 p.m. on May 13, police were dispatched to the report of an indecent exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male suspect was sitting on a park bench and was observed by the witness masturbating. Responding officers searched the area where the suspect was last seen traveling which concluded with negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5'7" – 6'0" tall with a skinny build. He was wearing all dark clothing and a black bucket hat. The investigation is ongoing.
