BRIDGEPORT, CT — A body was found in a stairwell at Bassick High School over the weekend, WFSB reported. Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Dispatchers received the call about a person found dead Sunday at the school at 1181 Fairfield Ave., according to The Hartford Courant. The medical examiner's office will determine the cause of death. Police are investigating. Anyone with information in the case should call Bridgeport police at 203-576-TIPS.
