There was an era when studio players could adeptly slide between sessions of country, soul, rock, pop; one where finesse was key. If you have a deep love and ability to play with the expressiveness of Bernard Purdie, Levon Helm, or Richie Albright on the drums; and James Jamerson, Carol Kaye, or John Paul Jones on bass... I am looking to get a rhythm section happening for an established project. I know this post is super-specific, but it's with a very specific sound in mind. The project is an Americana, Honky Tonk, Rock venture with a few records backlog of material and a new record coming out in August. If any of this grabs your interest, I would love to chat a bit. Thus far there's Vocals & guitar, as well as pedal steel & dobro worked out. Be well!
