Hundreds of notable musicians have performed with Terrapin Flyer and among them are a who’s who of top names in the jamband world. The band started touring with former Grateful Dead keyboardist Vince Welnick in 2001 and has continued for the past 15 years with Melvin Seals from the Jerry Garcia Band and former Grateful Dead keyboardist Tom Constanten. Because the Terrapin Flyer has toured for so many years, they have a strong following on both coasts and all points in between. The band has explored deeply the roots of The Grateful Dead and the Jerry Garcia Band and has a catalog of thousands of songs at their access. Terrapin Flyer carries with it a recognizable spirit of The Grateful Dead phenomenon. That spirit is the spirit of renewal, growth, vision and joy through music.
