Bass player looking to start or join a pop/rock band that plays originals (with some covers tossed in, of course). I also sing lead and background parts. Ideally, it would be great to have different band members singing lead on different songs and collaborating in the song writing process. I have a lot of different influences. But for this project, I’m thinking of something with loads of hooks, a lot of melody, and good harmonies (e.g. pop music, or pop punk, or maybe folk/pop/rock, or jangly Brit pop...well, you get the idea). I’m open to the instrumentation and think that a female-fronted band could also be musically interesting. I have experience playing live and recording. Having a day job and all that, I’m looking to rehearse only about once a week (maybe more to initially get things off the ground). But, I’d still like to play live relatively soon. Of course, all of this is dependent upon everything getting back to a more "normal" way of life, etc. Thanks for reading!
