The government provides (is in charge of schools) because every American has the right to an education. The problem with our education system is that teachers are underpaid. You cannot attract top notes teachers is the pay is too low. This is true for every industry. The other problem with our education system is that parents take zero responsibility for their children’s education. School is a tool for families to help educate their kids. Education does not start and end in school. School provides the basics. It is a parents responsibility to oversee their child’s entire education and make sure that thei kids are educated to the level that parents see fit. If you do not like the public school system, send your kids to private school. Some private schools are great. Others provide a lesser education than public schools. Do your homework but most importantly, take charge of your own child’s education. Do not count on any school system to do it.
