Responsibilities · Meet crews at shop opening to assist crew supervisor to ensure a timely departures. Review daily tasks, schedule, materials, and adjust schedule as needed. · Ensure that all company and industry standards for quality and safety are being upheld at crew level. · Establish and maintain constant communication with clients to keep them apprised of the schedule. · Maintenance Crews to be schedule for daily and weekly, adjust project starts/completion to ensure maximum efficiency and use of manpower · · Communicate billings to office manager and utilize our Sales Activity Report. · Review end of day items in person with Crew Leaders. Process crew work logs and receipts at end of day in coordination with field supervisor. · Establish manpower needs in consultation with management. Work with office manager for open positions, establish recruiting, and hire. Enforce maintain company policies and safety practices. Onboard new employees through established systems. · Maintain and enforce machinery, shop and truck organization, maintenance, and cleanliness. Coordinate maintenance for machinery and trucks with field supervisor and On-Site Mechanic. · Schedule and attend weekly crew meetings. Establish discussion items and talking points with management team at production meetings. · Maintain safe and organized storage of company equipment. Propose and budget for new truck and equipment purchasing as needed. · Field and troubleshot project and customer issues along with warranty needs or special projects. Skills we're seeking: • 4+ years of supervisory experience in construction or related industry. • A proven track record demonstrating your ability to build strong relationships with team members, clients, and management resulting in strong business performance • Beyond your managerial capacity, you must demonstrate skills in project and time management, team motivation, decision making and Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Excel & Word) • A working knowledge of budgeting, job costing and plus broad knowledge of horticulture, irrigation, landscaping equipment and managing a fleet of company vehicles. • Demonstrated people development and performance management skills. • Familiarity of landscape construction techniques and practices. • Effective oral and written communication skills. • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to speak Spanish with light to moderate fluency.
