PennDOT Fixing Potholes On These Doylestown Roads

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Maintenance and contractor crews from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation are working on more than 50 state highways this week to repair potholes in the greater Philadelphia region. In Bucks County, the roadways include Route 532 in Upper Makefield Township; Bristol Road in Warminster, Warrington, Warwick and Doylestown townships; Edison Furlong Road in Buckingham and Doylestown Townships; Lower State Road in Doylestown Boroughl and Callowhill Road in New Britain and Hilltown townships. Crews will restrict travel lanes on these state highways to patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Drivers can expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. All activities are weather dependent. As of January 1, PennDOT has used more than 5,248 tons of asphalt to repair potholes across the five-county Philadelphia region, the agency said.
