ELMHURST – A 10-year-old boy reported a suspicious incident about 3 p.m. Friday while walking home from school in the 400 block of Huntington Lane, police said Sunday. The driver of a gray older model sedan-type vehicle stopped to ask whether the child needed a ride, according to a police news release. The child declined, and the man left without any further conversation, police said. The man was described as white with black hair and wearing a black coat. Police said they are investigating the incident and have increased their presence in the area. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the police at 630-530-3050.
