Job Description: RCM is in need of several Flooring Installers to do Carpets, Tile and Vinyl. We want people that are looking for constant work and that can show up on projects M-F. We want to keep you busy. We are offering a $ 500.00 sign on bonus after 60 days of work. What we are looking for: Floor installation – installers need to be able to work with different types of flooring materials. Measuring skills – flooring installers cut materials and take measurements prior to changing floors Carpet installation – placing carpet tiles so the seams don’t show is an essential skill for flooring installers. Physical fitness – physical stamina is required for flooring installers, since they spend a lot of time kneeling, bending, and reaching. They also move heavy equipment and materials and must be able to regularly lift up to 75 pounds. Basic math skills – performing basic math is important for flooring installers to safely and accurately complete their job. Communication skills – flooring installers need excellent communication skills to work well with customers and coworkers. Organization skills – organizing layouts, blueprints, and installation order is essential to getting the job done Tools of the Trade: Flooring installers use the following tools and equipment in a typical workday: Hand tools (tape measurers, hammers, grinders, saws, sanders, chalk) Flooring tools (cutters, carpet stretchers, knee kickers) Vehicle: Must have a Truck or Van to carry Carpet to sites as needed. Must have flooring installation tools. Pay: Pay is based on how many jobs you complete a week: You do not need Insurance, we will carry that for you. Job Types: Full-time, Contract
