Plane View Farm is looking for an Assistant Maintenance Manager to help our Maintenance Manager with projects around the farm. Looking to hire immediately. Daily Tasks: - Assist Maintenance Manager with projects on property - Water/groom arenas - General maintenance/upkeep of horse property - Operate various pieces of farm equipment - Reports to Maintenance Manager or Farm Manager Require Skills/Experience: - Operation of farm equipment: tractor, skid steer, power tools, etc - Construction experience: Basic knowledge of construction - Physical and mental stamina: May need to assist in lifting up to 75 pounds, fixing, or manipulating heavy equipment or machinery. Must be prepared to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and varying weather conditions. - Barn/Farm experience: Knowledge of general barn chores including mucking, stalls/paddocks, feeding and handling horses a plus. - Must have 2 years’ experience as in facility maintenance/farm work - Must live within 30 minutes of Plane View Farm Schedule: - Full Time - May include weekends and holidays Education: - High School or Equivalent (preferred) License/Certification: - Driver's License (required) To apply, please send your resume/list of experience.
