Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 05/17/2021 211370099  On Monday, May 17, 2021 at around 1:30am officers responded to Buford Hwy Connector and Sidney Marcus Blvd on a report of a person shot. On scene officers found an adult male inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital but died of his injuries. Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was a passenger in the vehicle and had been traveling on GA400 when occupants in another vehicle began shooting.  The investigation is continuing.  Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and could change as the investigation progresses or new information comes to light.  This press release was produced by the Atlanta Police Department.
