I am a small, private mechanic shop and this is a unique opportunity. I am looking for a mechanically inclined shop helper that knows, at least, the basics of tools, and wants to learn different types of mechanic work. You will be working with me on repairs and other projects. I need one good helper who can be my right hand man. I have all the tools...you just need to show up for work. You must have a driver's license and have dependable transportation to get you to and from work...and, please don't have your Mom or girlfriend drop you off at work, as you may need to pick up parts for me, as part of the job duty. In addition to being my right hand man on repair work, you will also be responsible for cleaning the shop, organizing the shop, organizing tools, mowing the lawn, yard work, occasional painting, and washing a truck from time to time. I will not put up with a thief or drunk. You will get dirty and you will be paid for it. I'm a very laid back operation and I'm always involved on every job. Please have a "can do" attitude and not a "that's not my job" kind of attitude. You must be responsible and be at work every day and answer your cell phone. If you have the desire to work and want to learn, you will be able to do that here. Pay is $15 - $20/hour to start, plus I do give some weekly bonuses for busting your ass, in addition to some work-related bonuses, depending on the job(s). Please note: We do work some weekends. This is a contract labor position and you will be paid every week and paid well. Please read the above carefully and ONLY respond if you know your way around a tool box.
