Established original rock/jam band needs KEYS

We’re a 3 piece rock band with lots of jam influences who wants to be a 4 piece rock band with lots of jam influences. Biggest influences are Gov’t Mule, ABB, Widespread Panic, Black Crowes, Grateful Dead...I could go on but you get the point. We’ve been playing together for several years, have made a full length album and an ep, and want to get back to playing regional gigs as soon as we can. Our sound has a bluesy influence, but we are not a blues band. Definitely not looking to play I-IV-V shuffles all night. We will play covers when we need to for long gigs, but we have a pretty deep well of originals and like to focus on those. We’re looking for someone who wants to write new material, but is also comfortable going into our back catalog and coming up with parts for that material. We have weekly rehearsals and would like to have regular gigs when we can. We have had a couple of keyboardists jam with us, but all had prior commitments and other groups they play with. We’re looking for someone who is interested in putting in the time it takes to become a tight unit and book some festivals. We rehearse in Voorheesville (10 minute drive from Cross Gates). There’s a full 88 key Kurzweil synth available to use there if you don’t want to drag a keyboard around.
