Modern families often need old fashioned solutions. Our blended family of 6 could really use an intuitive, kind and experienced individual to help oversee the operations of our household. About us: Mom is CEO of a building materials company. Dad works in bikes! Both parents have 2 children each, all teenagers (keep reading!) Mom's 2 teens (12 & 14) live here full time and occasionally with their Dad. The other 2 teenagers operate in reverse and will only be here part-time, though sometimes you will be responsible for keeping 4 teenagers and a household above water (we believe in you!). This will not be the norm. We are an active, healthy, mindful and happy family and we hope you are, too! Alice, some things we're looking for in you: - Must possess a current drivers license, your own vehicle ideally. - Experience in guiding the leaders of tomorrow (teenagers) through the stressors of homework, social activities and keeping healthy habits with their chores, reading and eating. - Thoughtful cook of healthy food, ESPECIALLY those that can provide good leftovers and some meal prepped for later in the week. Seasonal and regional foods? Even better. - Some technical savvy, at least enough to help the kids navigate their devices and monitor these as necessary. - Smart, intuitive. It will be imperative that you can communicate your needs and learn to anticipate the needs of others without being prompted. -Experience with blended families- while we are two households in one, you will be answering to Mom. Dad could use help sometimes too, but that is not in your primary job descriptions. - Cool. Yeah, we hope our kids think you're cool. Yeet, TikTok, K Pop, Twitch, etc. Feel free to teach us the hip new lingo, too. -Funny, empathetic and full of life. We look forward to meeting you! The position ideally would start at 3 afternoon/evenings a week, roughly from 3pm until 7pm (One of the 3 days would occur during the weekend). Both parent figures in this household have demanding careers, both of which do require travel on occasion. In these situations, we would ask that you be available for overnight stays to manage the household and take care of the children. These instances will be at a fixed rate.
