Ecommerce business that sells clothes online is looking for a part time shipping clerk. The primary job responsibilities include receiving new merchandise, putting it into bags and labeling it, and packing merchandise into boxes for shipment. We are a small business with a casual atmosphere in a warehouse setting. You will be working on your own for most of the day and are able to listen to headphones after a few weeks on the job. The job involves working with various clothing items that come in many different sizes, colors and styles. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented hard worker that can be very accurate while maintaining a fast pace. Previous warehouse or shipping experience is a plus but not required. Training will be provided. The requirements of the job are: - Able to work on your feet and by yourself all day long - Able to lift boxes up to 50 pounds - Very comfortable using a computer - Able to do basic math in your head (add, subtract, multiply, divide) - Organized, accurate and detail oriented - Can stay on task and work at a fast pace The job is 2.5 days a week with a total of around 20 hours per week. The hours are 9:00 - 5:30. The days are Monday, Tuesday and partial Wednesday, but there may be some flexibility on days for the right person. There may also be an opportunity to work more hours in the future. The business is located in Mission Gorge (just east of Mission Valley). The pay is $15.00/hour.
