Description

Seeking a Maintenance Engineer to maintain the entire hotel facility, including physical building structure, all mechanical electrical, HVAC systems, use equipment for preventive maintenance programs. Ensure the up keep of guest areas. Manage some renovation projects and in- house room enhancements. Plan and organize work, communicate goals within the department to complete all necessary tasks of the day. Essential job functions: Develops implements and manage emergency programs for the operations and maintenance of all equipment and physical structures and landscaping in compliance with corporate franchise standards, local, state and national codes and regulations to protect the assets, guests, and employees to ensure optimum operations, minimize expenses uses, but maximize customer satisfaction. Plumbing, caulking, painting, stucco repairs, lighting installation, carpentry, and room repairs. Conduct walk-through and visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structure(s) of the hotel, all mechanical, electrical HVAC systems and any other related equipment. Maintain and repair the interior and exterior of building, hotel rooms, and contents. Assigns and verifies completion of all routine maintenance of public spaces, meeting rooms, guest rooms, back of the house spaces and grounds. Assigns and verifies completion of repairs. Establish and maintain procedures to ensure the security of inventory and assets (tools, supplies, equipment, furniture, television programming, are working in proper order, etc.) Maintain a well-defined and organized system within the the Maintenance Shop for the inventory, storage of tools, products, materials and equipment necessary to execute the required activities of the department. Other Skills/Abilities: Perform other duties as requested such as coordination of meeting spaces and modifications, construction of props for special hotel functions and Team Member relations' events. Excellent interpersonal communication skills with guests and employees. Have the ability to positively communicate and instruct Team Members, offering assistance in areas where help is needed.
