Must be self driven, and a self driven safety leader. Multi tasking and juggling priorities is a daily routine and with that comes a need for sound judgement making. LafargeHolcim’s Eugene Terminal is in need of a terminal operator to run daily operations. The facility markets & sells 2 different cementitious products and ships finished products in bulk trucks. Over a period of time, the position can offer opportunities to learn about, and work with all things present at the facility, which includes operating a scissor lift, Trackmobile, Cyclonaire pneumatic transfer system, and our main focus of using our automated loading system. We will train and provide knowledge in business computer systems, customer service, railroad operations, and environmental stewardship systems. There is no shortage of opportunities to operate square point shovels and brooms as well. Cleanliness is a big part of our team. Base hourly rates could start out at $20+ depending on experience and have an opportunity to see increased annual pay with an annual evaluation of soft and hard skills. We have a competitive benefits package that includes vacation, holidays, healthcare and 401k contributions. Our working days are Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays.
