Major Responsibilities: Be able to input data into our computer system Oversee order processing cycle (pull out order, check items, pack and ship) Assures that customer orders are picked and shipped timely, accurately and within prescribed customer requirements. Assist with inventory control and operations Assist in managing inbound, outbound, and internal transfers including shipments Check received goods (quality and quantity) and reject unacceptable products according to internal procedures. Ensures inbound trucks are properly scheduled and product is in a wholesome intactcondition. Properly receives inbound loads, records entries accurately, and scans products properly according to the purchase order. Supports work-loads and productivity and ensure that all receiving is put away and completed in a timely manner. Communicate with internal and external departments regarding orders and shipments. Distribute products internally according to food safety rules and storage orders. Label, stock and inventory department merchandise accordantly. Plan, organize and supervise the inventory process and maintain an awareness of inventory and stocking conditions; note any discrepancies in inventory. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Work ethic – A sense of urgency in meeting critical and time sensitive deadlines. Accuracy – Demonstrated ability to accurately pack product in a timely fashion. Language – Basic English speaking and written proficiency. Mathematical – Ability to perform basic arithmetic tasks – adding, subtracting, dividing, and multiplying. Environmental: Willingness to work in a cold climate. A combination of the above will also be considered. Requirements: Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor. Ability to work in a cold storage warehouse environment with -20 degrees to 55 degrees temperature for long periods of time is required. Must be able to work varied schedule including weekends.Flexible to work overtime as needed. Ability to follow directions, and basic math skills required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to pay close attention to details and meet deadlines
