Description
Idaho State University's Physician Assistant Studies students participate in a two year master's degree program during their first year of which they participate in hands-on learning of each body system. On June 1st, 2021, PA students will perform sensitive standardized patient physical exams during the genitourinary/reproductive health module. There is one time slot available: 8-10 AM.
The Program is currently looking to hire males as live models. Students will perform prostate health exams on live models—the same exams given by primary health care providers during yearly wellness exams, except that these are non-diagnostic. Live models would undergo 5-6 of these exams from students of all genders with a licensed and professional PA faculty instructor present to provide guidance.
Live models will be compensated $25 per exam, cash in-hand once the exams are completed.
Live models must be over the age of 18 and have all their reproductive organs.
Live models will need to meet with a faculty member beforehand to go over clinical details and answer any questions you may have prior to the event. Please email to set up an appointment.
