Trump has split the Republican Party. Half the party hates Trump. The lighter half loves him. But here’s the thing, neither half can survive without the other half. If Trump leaves the party, the GOP collapses. If the genuine traditional conservative republicans cut Trump lose, the parry collapses. The ONLY way that this ends reasonably well for the Republican Party is if they find a new poster boy who is more charismatic than Trump that represents both halves of the party and dumps Trump. They need someone who can unify the GOP. Otherwise, the GOP is destined to fail. The thing is, every strong GOP leader has now proven that they are a spineless turd who is afraid to stand up to trump. Every coward in the GIP is afraid of getting “Liz cheneyied”. So long Republican suckers. It’s over now.
