Applications are now being accepted for the following position: Facilities Technician Major Responsibilities: • Responsible for property and building maintenance and repair. • Perform landscaping activities such as cutting grass, trimming, cleaning debris. • Coordinate office/classroom moves or renovations to include assembling and moving furniture, painting, and repairs. Move or install athletic/weight room equipment. • Conduct inspections of the grounds and equipment to ensure a safe environment and efficient operations. • Ensure grounds, lots, and fields are clean of trash and other debris. Maintain, wash and paint concrete on property. Clean picnic tables and repair as needed. • Prepare rooms or facilities for special meetings and campus events (set-up and breakdown). • Monitor performance of vendors such as custodial services, • Operate equipment • Process maintenance ticketing system • Buses • Material safety data sheets • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Minimum of one year’s experience in buildings maintenance and landscaping required • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs • Excellent oral and written communication skills Salary and Benefits: A competitive compensation and benefits program Starting Date: As soon as possible
