singer/songwriter looking for folk/indie band

Hey there - I just moved here recently from L.A. and have been itching to get back into making music but want some folks to do it with and don't yet have a network out here. I'm a singer/songwriter and while I'm taking piano lessons weekly, I'm still at an "I'll write pop bangers in basic 4 chord progressions and take them to proper players to folk up" stage. I'm looking for something fun, cathartic, and hopefully, shows are an option at some point?
