Masonry/Concrete Crew Leader and Crew Needed

Utz Environmental Services is a locally owned and operated business that has serviced Austin and its surrounding cities for over 26 years. We are looking to hire Masonry/Concrete Crews and Crew Leaders to fill immediate, full-time positions. Job Duties/Requirements Include: • Understanding of General Construction necessary including masonry, carpentry, metalwork/welding, landscape and concrete/cement work • Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs) • Ability to work outside in extreme conditions (hot, cold, etc) 10 hours a day • Ability to read and follow blueprints and plans • Have basic masonry understanding including concrete, cmu blockwork, stone wall, and flagstone installation, paver installation, and retaining wall construction • Ability to use and properly perform preventative maintenance on light/heavy equipment including forklifts, skid steers, tractors, and various hand and power tools • Ability to load/unload/move soil, equipment, and materials • Understanding of setting forms, concrete leveling and monitoring of the curing process, molding expansion joints and edges, using edging tools, jointers and straight edges, cleaning and repairing chipped areas, operating power vibrators to compact concrete, drilling holes and breaking up rock and application of sealing compounds • Work in a fast-paced and efficient manner to keep projects on schedule • Team Leaders must have a current drivers license with a clean record • Ability to complete hardscape designs and construction tasks by following clear written and verbal instructions • Responsibly maintain materials and equipment as well as an orderly Jobsite Pay Offered: $16-$17+ an hour (Depending on Experience) for Team Members without a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record $18+ an hour (Depending on Experience) for Team Members with a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record $20+ an hour (Depending on Experience) for Crew Leaders without a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record $22+ an hour (Depending on Experience) for Crew Leaders with a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record Apply in person at 10948 E Crystal Falls Pkwy, Leander Texas 78641 or email at [email protected] for a copy of an application to fill out and return.
