Utz Environmental Services is a locally owned and operated business that has serviced Austin and its surrounding cities for over 26 years. We are looking to hire Irrigation Repair Technicians as both Crew Leaders and Crew Members to fill immediate, full-time positions. Job Duties/Requirements Include: • Detecting and making necessary repairs and renovations to irrigation systems • Accurately read gauges and be able to run system checks • Follow schedules and be able to complete tasks quickly and efficiently • Conduct and record detailed inspections • Have knowledge of pipe and fitting types and sizes • Basic irrigation installation practices and procedures • Understand the meters and tools necessary to diagnose and repair electrical circuits • Basic understanding of various brands of controllers • Ability to evaluate site needs and make recommendations to supervisors in regards to watering programs • Understand drip components and various flow rates of drip tube and program controllers • Ability to operate and make adjustments to valves, rotors and heads • Ability to operate light/heavy equipment effectively and according to all regulations • Ability to work outside in all temperatures for up to 10 hours • Driver’s license with a clean record required Pay Offered: • $20+ an hour (Depending on Experience) for an applicant with a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record Apply in person at 10948 E Crystal Falls Pkwy, Leander Texas 78641 or email at [email protected] for a copy of an application to fill out and return.
