Utz Environmental Services is a locally owned and operated business that has serviced Austin and its surrounding cities for over 26 years. We are looking to hire Landscape Installation Crews and Crew Leaders to fill immediate, full-time positions. Job Duties/Responsibilities Include: • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (50 lbs) • Ability to work outside in extreme conditions (hot, cold, etc.) 10 hours a day • Ability to read and follow construction blueprints and plans • Have good plant identification skills in a variety of perennials, shrubs, and trees • Be detail-oriented with the ability to work quickly and efficiently in an effort to stay on schedule • Responsibly maintain materials and equipment as well as perform basic preventative maintenance when necessary • Be able to perform basic landscaping duties such as: laying sod, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, trenching, cleaning up debris, and installing trees and shrubs • Be able to safely operate and maintain light/heavy equipment such as hand tools, tractors, trenchers, skid steers, mowers, and other twin-axle vehicles • Be able to perform site grading including following elevation measurements • Responsibly maintain safety standards as well as report any issues that arise so supervisors can quickly address them • Drivers License with a clean record required for Crew Leaders • Ability to complete landscape design and construction tasks by following clear written and verbal tasks Pay Offered: $16-$17+ an hour (Depending on Experience) for Team Members without a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record $18+ an hour (Depending on Experience) for Team Members with a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record $20+ an hour (Depending on Experience) for Crew Leaders without a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record $22+ an hour (Depending on Experience) for Crew Leaders with a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record Apply in person at 10948 E Crystal Falls Pkwy, Leander Texas 78641 or email for a copy of an application to fill out and return
