Utz Environmental Services is a locally owned and operated business that has serviced Austin and its surrounding cities for over 26 years. We are looking to hire Landscape Maintenance Crews and Crew Leaders to fill immediate, full-time positions. Job Duties/Responsibilities Include: • Performing basic landscape duties including but not limited to: mowing, edging, trimming, aerating, top dressing, laying down sod and mulch, planting flowers, cleaning up debris, digging, blowing leaves, pulling weeds, watering plants, and applying fertilizer. • Must be able to use tools and light/heavy equipment such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, sod cutters, weed eaters, blowers, rakes, pruning equipment, and hedge or brush trimmers • Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, planters, or other grounds including gathering litter and reporting issues • Ability to load/unload power equipment, tools, materials, and debris each day to/from vehicles • Perform preventative maintenance as well as minor repairs and maintenance on equipment used • Have good plant identification skills and be detail-oriented • Ability to work outside in all conditions for 10 hours a day • Ability to perform with the physical demands required for this type of work including heavy lifting, pushing or pulling (up to 50 lbs), manual dexterity, squatting and bending, working around intense noise, hazardous materials and in extreme weather conditions or extreme temperatures • Maintain a professional appearance and presence while traveling to and from locations and while on site. • Adhere to schedules and keep detailed records of work performed as well as reporting any issues/problems that may arise to your supervisors immediately to maintain client satisfaction Pay Offered: $16-$17+ an hour (Depending on Experience) for Team Members without a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record $18+ an hour (Depending on Experience) for Team Members with a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record $20+ an hour (Depending on Experience) for Crew Leaders without a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record $22+ an hour (Depending on Experience) for Crew Leaders with a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record Apply in person at 10948 E Crystal Falls Pkwy, Leander Texas 78641 or email for a copy of an application to fill out and return
