We are hiring a housekeeper for our Airbnb in South Bend, IN! ---------------- About the rental: We are a family of Notre Dame fans! I have two brothers who are students and we all enjoy going to football games. I run a short term rental business and on the side help manage this house for my parents. The house is decorated with a Notre Dame theme. We attract a lot of Notre Dame alumni, business travels, guests in town for weddings, guests going to football games, parents of students, families and more! We work hard to receive 5 star reviews and enjoy creating a special experience for all of our guests! The house is 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and 1,600 sqft. ---------------- Overview of the position: The cleanliness of the house is a critical part to the success of the rental. Great reviews from guests are what lead to more future bookings. We recognize the importance of this role and its direct impact it has on our guests' experiences. Cleanings fall on different days of the week. Housekeeper will be paid a fixed rate per turnover that will be electronically transferred after the cleaning is complete. Housekeeper will have a minimum of a 30 hour window to complete the cleaning. This allows him/her to have schedule flexibility. ---------------- Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): - Full cleaning of the house - Stripping of beds, washing of linens, re-making of beds - Restocking consumables - Following a cleaning checklist - Arranging rooms according to diagrams - Reporting any damages or issues from guests ---------------- Potential Candidates must: - Have a flexible schedule - Be available sometimes on short notice ---------------- We Are Looking for Candidates Who: - Have great attention to detail - Proactively communicate - Are friendly to work with - Are able to work efficiently and quickly - Are dependable - Are honest and trustworthy - Take initiative to share new ideas - Are able to self-manage - Have great character and professional references ---------------- A great thing about short term rentals is they are cleaned after each stay and therefore kept in great condition. There are no personal items to work around. It is the same process each time and therefore able to be done quickly.
