This is Dozer. He really needs a good home. His owner passed away at the beginning of this year. He is 4 year's old and 110 pounds. Up to date on all of his shots. He is chipped but not neutered. He is a big lap dog. But, also very protective. Now, he was never really socialized before. He was pretty much raised in one room of the house with his owner, who was disabled, He has a big yard to run in but hasnt been out in the world other than vet appointments. I'm getting him used to people coming around and he's doing good. It takes him a little while to get comfortable around someone but once he does he's a sweetheart. He was never really taught many manners. He is learning quickly and very eager to please. He needs to be with someone who has time to spend with him. Even if its just being in the same room. He has gone from being in one room with a man 24 hours a day to being left alone all most all of the time. He is grieving and seems to be getting depressed. He is very lonley. Because of his lack of socialization I don't think he would be well suited for a house with small children. He gets along so far with other dogs. Tho he's not been around many. He will chase a cat. But, màinly because he wants to play with it. They just don't want to play with him. I want him to go to a good home with someone who has the time and patience for him. He gets very excited and is pretty hyper. He needs room to run or a lot of exercise. He will chase a ball all day long and bring it back and put it in your hand if you just have the time to throw it. He has a crate and bed that he will bring with him. plus his toys, leash collar and food bowls. I will even send a bag of food and treats. You can call or text me at Joyce
