Nan Vaden's Temple Temps is looking to hire LIGHT ASSEMBLERS for a company in the Temple area. Ave M in Temple. Call 254/791-8367 DESCRIPTION In a fast-paced manufacturing facility, Light Assemblers assemble battery handling equipment, cranes and lifting beams. Assemblers are detail-oriented, skilled employees use shop equipment and such standard hands tools as grinders, circular saws, pneumatic tools, drill presses, the hydraulic roller press and electric tools. Assemblers must be able work independently and in cooperation with other employees. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Attendance- present at scheduled shift to perform assigned tasks. 2. Accurately read tape measure and accomplish basic shop math. 3. Read shop orders, shipping Logs, bills of lading and packing lists. 4. Comply with Shop and Department Safety Rules and practices. 5. Safely operate grinders, band saws, pneumatic tools, hydraulic presses. 6. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry for distances to 25 feet. 7. Other duties as assigned. CONDITIONS 1. Hours per day - 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with opportunities for overtime. 2.
