POAH Communities is seeking a Janitor for its Colony Plaza apartment development in Excelsior Springs, MO. The primary responsibility of the janitorial functions will be related to maintaining a clean property. The position will require some light maintenance and snow removal responsibilities as well. Job Requirements High school degree. Some plumbing and electrical knowledge (is a plus but not required). Strong verbal, written and customer service communications are essential. Positive attitude. Team player. Willingness to learn. Must be able to perform the following duties 66-100% of the time: be on feet, bend/stoop/squat/kneel, climb stairs, push/pull, reach above shoulder, climb ladders, grasp/grip/turn, finger dexterity, lift/carry up to 65lbs, be able to read and understand maintenance forms and warning labels.
