About Us Ms Dana holds a Child Development Associate, while Ms. Stephanie has a Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Early Childhood Education. Together they offer over 15 years experience and the kind of one-on-one care only a small center can provide. Academics Ms. Dana and Ms. Stephanie offer a full curriculum that is individualized and adapted to each child’s ability and age range. In addition to the basics of letter, number, color, and shape comprehension they have a very hands on, approach to their lesson plans. Students do very little sitting at desks, they learn their Monthly targets and weekly themes through art, music, and outdoor play/discovery. The Basics Mama Bear Childcare provides an entire school year of education and learning from early August through the end of May. Breakfast, Lunch, and snacks are included.
