Eats well and very healthy Don't know gender It takes anything, and he/she has been on chopped beef liver, beef heart, chicken gizzard, chicken liver, guppies, platys, mollies, mealworms, superworms, Hikari cichlid gold, rarely a piece of Hikari algae wafer, chopped tilapia, and leftover Hikari pac attack sometimes if my frog leaves a little piece. My tank is too small for him and i feel bad seeing him in it, he's a juvenile living in a 10 gallon. Got him as a baby from petco. Id say its 5 to 6 inches in length He has water changes twice a week, fed a variety diet, and has moss and pothos in his tank. He readily takes food and no signs are shown that he's sick. U may inspect him when we meet up. Tank must be already setup. 30 gallon tank or bigger with strong filtration and a lid. Water temperature at 77-82 degrees and appropriate tank mates is a must.
