Rising Sun Baptist Church in DC is sponsoring its 2021 Annual Prayer Walk to supports our Community in need "One Step at a Time". The Missionary Ministry at Rising Sun Baptist Church is sponsoring its annual "Prayer Walk" on Saturday, June 5, 2021. This is a 3-mile walk through the neighborhood, as we pray for God's blessings on the people, the homes and the businesses in the community. The walk begins at the church’s Parsonage (adjacent to the church), where a Prayer Band will be stationed to pray for the walkers as well as the community.This Prayer Walk supports all of our Missionary Ministry initiatives, including the clothes closet and food pantry which assist in basic needs to our neighbors, school supplies to community children and the Angel Tree Program to children with incarcerated parents at Christmas. Please help us make a difference in someone's life by walking with us, sponsoring a walker or by simply making a donation.
