The Goshen Lions Club will display full-size flags as a tribute to everyday heroes: Veterans, first responders, clergy, teachers, etc. Who’s your Hero? A Veteran, First Responder, Teacher, Doctor, Nurse, or a community member? Flags for Hero’s is a fundraiser that allows you to let everyone know who your Hero is! Sponsoring a flag means: A flag will be flown in honor of your Hero! A Flags for Heroes medallion with a card on the back lisiting your Hero's name will be attached to the flag. Flags that are being flown in honor of Veterans will be flown in July and again around the Veterans Day holiday in November. All orders must be submitted by June 19th. OPENING CEREMONY- Please plan to attend the Opening Ceremony on July 3rd at 9:30am. Event parking will be at the Goshen Township Hall, 6757 Goshen Rd. If you are unable to make the ceremony, please feel free to visit the flag display at any time during the week long event; you will utilize the same Township Hall parking for your visit. A map of your Hero's flags location will be sent via email before the event. SPONSORSHIP LEVELS- There are several levels of sponsorship avaliable for you to choose. We start at $50 for a single flag and go up to $400 for a Corporate Sponorship that includes multiple flags. It is always the goal of The Goshen Lions Club to serve our community by providing great events that benefit our community and provide funding to better serve our community in the future.
