We are a homeless couple, together for 2 years. Just this week a fire destroyed all of our belongings. These were things that we had worked hard to get while being homeless. They were items of necessity as well as items of comfort...things that made what little that we had seem more like home.
We don't ever ask for handouts...in fact, we rarely even hold a sign...but, due to the sudden and unexpected nature with which everything was lost, and the current lack of a place to lay our heads, blankets for cover or even sweaters or jackets to keep warm, we find ourselves needing a little help.
Following is a short list of basic items that we lost and are in immediate need of. I'm sure that there are other items that i have forgotten so if there's something else that you can think of then by all means, please mention it in your response.
*Tent
*Tarp
*Blankets/sleeping bags
*Air mattress or sleeping pads
*Hammock
*Rope/Paracord
*Cooler
*Flashlights
*Batteries
*Plastic Bins
*Camp stove
*A camp cook set
*A canopy or individual tent poles for creating a covered area for cooking and/or general storage
I'll go ahead and list our general clothing sizes because we have no jackets or sweaters and could definitely use some rain gear as well.
