Curious how to use our sewing machines? Join us for a workshop centered around the basics. This workshop will teach you: sewing machine operation, including loading thread and making bobbins, changing the needle, basic sewing, and best practices. The workshop provides all materials and a sample project. Instructions can be found on our website at irl.depaul.edu and are available in the space. Arrive on time! While this is NOT an authorization workshop, late arrivals will be turned away. Walk-in's will be accepted for no-show spots. This workshop is free and open to all currently enrolled DePaul University students/staff/faculty. We do not accept those who are not DePaul affiliated. Alumni must provide an alumni ID card. Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to machine use.
