This showcase is the love child of all things awesome happening in Chicago Comedy, featuring today's BEST local and touring stand-ups! With Sets From: Kadeem Fuller: Liz Zagone: Liz Zagone is a Chicago based comedian and storyteller. She performs all over the city including Zanies and Laugh Factory. In her free time she enjoys tie dying matching outfits for her and her dog, Tuna. Tim Weichselbaum: Tim Weichselbaum is a karaoke singer and occasional open mic comedian from Buffalo Grove, Illinois. He had an easy, loving childhood and uses this as motivation to perform lazily written jokes as part of his stand-up comedy act. He has been alienating woke audiences since 2012 with his bitingly unapologetic, hateful monologues. He has appeared on Nobody Likes You with Dale McPeek and has released two open mike comedy albums on Spotify called “Making Dudes Laugh” and “Making Chicks Uncomfortable.” Bobby Budds: Bobby Budds is a Chicago based comedian who has been performing all over the Midwest for the past 10 years. He is a favorite of clubs and shows throughout the country and uses his keen observation on everyday life to not bomb at those shows. He one time got written up at his job because he wouldn’t stop talking to customers about hotdogs and figured he would try to just do that for a living. He is not 5 foot 6 despite what doctors and medical professionals say. Carinda Rae Larson : Raised in the homes of several families but mostly in the woods of Northern Wisconsin, Carinda Rae Larson’s relatable yet simultaneously shocking comedy touches on her colorful childhood, crazy family, and her struggles and triumphs as a young adult trying to find her place in the Windy City. Jamal Guichon: Jamal Guichon is a Chicago comedian that specializes in saying whatever he wants. He runs a weekly show at Zanies called Wednesdays After Work. Dale McPeek: Dale McPeek is currently a Chicago based comedian. His fresh take on call-out comedy, climate change, and his hipster friends, has gained the attention of nationally touring comedians and musicians, leading him to open for some of the biggest acts in the country on some of the grandest stages.
