Nick Durwin from our Group will be leading this hike! Note: Due to limited parking I have made a TIME CHANGE, The Hike will Start at 10am so we can get parking spaces. I will make this group first come, first serve to the first 15 People who sign up through EventBrite! https://www.mass.gov/locations/chester-blandford-state-forest Location: Right on Route 20 - Once you past the old gas station which is now a restaurant named Carms. You continue down Main Street Chester and then you drive a little ways until you see the sign on the right- for those coming from Pittsfield area. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/massachusetts/sanderson-brook-falls-trail The path is even and partially paved, an easy hike with gradual hills and inclines. Sanderson Brook Falls Loop is a 4.8 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Chester, Massachusetts that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, nature trips and is best used from April until October. The trail is clear but occasionally you will have rocks or sticks to step over or go around. What you should bring: Water A Mask Personal Hand Sanitizer A small snack Hiking boots or Sneakers Bug spray Backpack for your items I will have a first-aid kit with me if anyone may need something such as a Band-Aid don't hesitate to ask. July 11th- Mahanna Cobble Trail: Meet at Bousquet’s Parking Lot, Pittsfield, MA July 25th- Ice Glen: Meet on Park Street Stockbridge, MA August 8th- Monks Pond: Meet at Olivia’s Lookout in West Stockbridge, MA August 22nd- Natural Bridge State Park: North Adams, MA September 5th- No Hike Today September 19th- Stoney Ledge, Mt. Greylock: Meet at CCC Dynamite Trail Head Parking lot or across the road on Sperry Rd. We will walk Sperry Rd. 2 miles to the View. October 3rd- No Hike Today October 17th- Sweet Heart Hike - Suggested by James Alden from our Group: Meet at Kirvin Park, Pittsfield. October 31st- To the top of State Forest: Meet at Lulu Pond, Pittsfield State Forest.
